Afro Bros

Afro Bros is a Dutch DJ and producer duo that established themselves as pivotal figures in the DJ culture, creating a new wave and genre that has earned them recognition as award-winning DJs, producers, and entrepreneurs.

In 2016, they released the Dutch track '18 Plus'. What started as a lighthearted joke transformed into a massive international hit, featuring an extremely catchy melody and synth. The Afro Bros (co)produced the #1 songs in the Netherlands, including 'Energie' and 'Come Again' by Ronnie Flex, Frenna, and Boef. They also (co)produced the Latin Grammy-nominated track 'Sua Cara' by Major Lazer. Their biggest hit, also Latin Grammy-nominated, is 'X', a collaboration with Nicky Jam and J Balvin. This track has amassed over 2 billion views on YouTube and more than 1 billion streams on Spotify.

In 2019, they released two massive singles: 'Instagram' featuring Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, David Guetta, Daddy Yankee, and Natti Natasha, which has already surpassed 300 million streams, and 'Boomshakalaka' featuring Sebastián Yatra and others.

2022 marks a year of rejuvenation for the Afro Bros as they prepare new tracks with international artists and tour selectively around the world to bring their 'Booty Beats' to dance floors. Their year has already kicked off strongly with the production of the lead single 'Amarillo' in collaboration with DJ Snake for J Balvin’s latest album, Colores.

In 2024, Afro Bros have made a significant impact on the Dutch music scene with the release of their much-anticipated collaboration titled 'Vannacht Slaap Jij Bij Mij' This track features a blend of diverse musical styles, showcasing the duo's ability to merge their Afro-oriented sound with the unique influences of their collaborators: Dutch folk singer John West, versatile artist Monq, and authentic rapper Billy Dans The song is already making waves on platforms like TikTok, where it has been used in hundreds of videos, hinting at its potential as a summer hit.
