Matisse & Sadko

Matisse & Sadko are internationally acclaimed music producers and DJs, consisting of two brothers, Aleksandr and Yury. Throughout their career, they have massively shaped the dance music genre, creating numerous anthems that have left a significant impact on EDM lovers worldwide. They have collaborated with artists such as Steve Angello, Tiësto, and Martin Garrix. The brothers have released several chart-topping singles and worked on remixes for industry-leading artists like Afrojack and Galantis.

In 2013, Matisse & Sadko released their collaboration ‘SLVR’ with Steve Angello, followed by releases on Spinnin’ Records. 2015 was a breakthrough year for the duo as they joined forces with Martin Garrix on the Break Through the Silence EP, propelling them to new heights. The title track has garnered over 55 million streams across multiple platforms. Following this success, they teamed up with Martin Garrix again to create ‘Together,’ which also amassed millions of plays.

In 2016, Matisse & Sadko launched their own label, MONoMARK, where several successful tracks saw the light, including ‘Machine Gun,’ ‘Ya Amar,’ and ‘Witchcraft.’ In October 2017, they released their fourth collaboration with Martin Garrix, ‘Forever,’ which became one of the biggest dance anthems of the year. Since late 2017, the duo has worked closely with Martin Garrix’s label, STMPD RCRDS, releasing several tracks. A highlight of their career was their 2018 collaboration with EDM legend Tiësto on ‘Dawnbreaker.’ In September 2018, they released ‘Takeoff’ on Musical Freedom, blending 90s old-school vibes with an aggressive Bass House drop, which quickly gained support from top DJs like David Guetta, Don Diablo, and Tiësto.

2019 and 2020 were productive years for Matisse & Sadko, as they signed an exclusive deal with STMPD RCRDS. This partnership resulted in ten solid releases, including two more collaborations with Martin Garrix, ‘Mistaken’ and ‘Hold On,’ both of which have over 45 million Spotify streams. In 2021, they broadened their scope, signing a deal with Warner Music to focus more on pop songs, which led to the summery single ‘OK’ featuring Lovespeake. They also launched their side project, Shy Baboon, focused on House music, releasing two singles so far. Additionally, Matisse & Sadko released a Progressive House track, ‘Dawn,’ featuring Alex Kris, on their own label and started working with Tomorrowland Music, resulting in singles like ‘Relight My Love’ and ‘Won’t Let You Go’ with Martin Garrix.

In 2022, they continued their momentum with their eighth collaboration with Garrix and the release of ‘Feeling’ on Tomorrowland Music. A special highlight was their performance on the Main Stage of Tomorrowland, which they repeated in 2023, marking a notable achievement in their career. They also released ‘Promise You,’ a highly anticipated track among their fanbase.

Over their illustrious career, Matisse & Sadko have performed at prominent festivals such as Ultra, 7th Sunday Festival, and Ultrasonic Festival, and at renowned venues like Omnia Las Vegas, Ushuaïa Ibiza, and SEL Octagon, cementing their status as stalwarts in the world of electronic dance music.
