Sem van Dijk

Sem van Dijk is a 23-year-old artist, DJ and musician with a huge passion for music. He has been actively involved in music for over ten years and has developed into a versatile artist who feels equally at home in the studio and behind the decks.

His musical journey began at a young age. His debut release, a collaboration with his father, achieved an impressive 5 million streams and marked an important milestone in the start of his musical career. Sem subsequently graduated from the Herman Brood Academy, where he further developed his skills as an artist, songwriter and producer, while connecting with various artists and producers from across the music industry.

Alongside making music, Sem has over 2.5 years of DJ experience. He initially performed under a different name and within a different genre, gaining valuable experience behind the decks and performing in front of live audiences.

Recently, Sem made the conscious decision to step forward as a DJ under his own name. This allows him to bring together different sides of his musical personality: delivering great sets, creating energy, engaging the crowd and, when the moment calls for it, even singing along to his own tracks. His goal is clear: to create unforgettable parties, make people enjoy themselves and establish a distinctive sound and recognisable live act of his own.

Beyond music, Sem also has extensive experience in the entertainment industry. He has appeared in several television programmes, including Echte Jongens op Safari, Jachtseizoen, Premiejagers, De Alleskunner and Code van Coppens. He is also active on social media, with a strong presence on platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.

Music remains Sem's number one priority. He spends his days writing, creating and releasing music, constantly striving to grow as an artist. His ambition for the coming years is to continue building his career, release more music, perform at bigger shows and, above all, get as many people as possible caught up in his energy.
